A Lead Application Developer works in a production support and/or project team environment to deliver both custom-developed and package-based software. Provides leadership and technical guidance to other Application Developers, other groups, projects, and related work efforts. A Lead Application Developer can support a variety of technologies that may include, but are not limited to, the following:
Java and related tools, Mainframe and related tools, PeopleSoft and related tools, ECM, Cognos. Essential Functions (primary functions and/or reasons the job exists in order of importance) Works in a production support and/or project team environment to deliver both custom-developed and package-based software. Leads, coaches and mentors application developers, other team members, and delivery activities associated with existing applications or projects. Monitors work queues, assigns work to internal and external resources , and works with other leads. Oversees and reviews the translation of business and system requirements into technical requirements and design documents for the proposed solution. Prepares and/or reviews estimates, creates designs, performs coding and unit testing for custom-developed applications. May delegate work associated with these activities. Performs quality assurance functions including unit testing, system testing, integration testing, and overall technical oversight. Works with the Lead Test Analyst on the overall test strategy for the proposed solution. Leads activities associated with application asset planning, asset roadmaps, release management, and solution design. Provides subject matter expertise and technical leadership on a variety of issues and initiatives inside and outside of their group. Leads collaboration efforts with Architects on various solutions and technology initiatives. Coordinates communications with customer(s) and attends prioritization meetings. Organizes business continuity activities for team and ensures security standards are met. Leads process and/or system improvement activities associated with the immediate team and/or group. Serves as a primary point of contact for application or project team. Develops and presents appropriate metrics and measurements to management. Adheres to software development lifecycle and service management processes. Serves as a subject matter expert level of knowledge with respect to relevant technology, tools, processes and related best practices. Travels occasionally in order to participate in special assignments, training, and/or travel between office locations. Desired Qualifications/Experience/Certification/Education (in order of importance) A minimum of 7 years' experience performing application development and/or production support. 6
years' experience successfully working on high complexity assignments/projects. Direct or indirect leadership experience overseeing developers. Experience mentoring, coaching, motivating, and positively influencing others. Strong technical leadership skills (e.g. architecture, planning, estimating). Actively learns through experimentation when handling new situations/problems and utilizes lessons from past success and failures. Strong time management skills including the ability to plan work and set priorities. Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills resulting in the ability to interact with all levels in the organization. Bachelor's degree in a technical (e.g. computer science, information systems, engineering) field or commensurate work experience. Valid driver's license and a driving record that conforms to company standards.
Salary Range:
$100K -- $200K
Minimum Qualification
Software DevelopmentEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
